Lynette & Jerry McCarthy
Owner/OperatorsIn 2004, Lynette and her husband Jerry were looking for a historic house with a few acres of ground and came across an absolute gem. A Christmas tree farm with a house on the National Historic Register. The property's backstory is just as fascinating: it was once a 302-acre dairy farm before being carved up into smaller lots in the 1980s. While the house (dubbed "Windsor", circa 1760) was lovingly restored, the other buildings and grounds needed a little extra TLC. First, we hosted outdoor events and began collecting antique bits and bobs from around town. Then, we set out to transform the barn into a stunning wedding and event venue using historic materials that were at least a century old! We even dug up an old metal horse head hitching post and a 'Cattle Crossing Sign' and repurposed them as decorations on the farm. Oh, the love that went into creating the perfect wedding wonderland! The Ballroom at Windsor, named after the charming historic house, is now open and ready to enchant lovebirds and their guests. Our farm becomes their love nest for the day, where magic is created, and memories are made. Our mission is to weave a bond between our couples and the farm, leaving them with unforgettable moments to treasure forever. It warms our hearts to see our couples come back with their loved ones, building new memories and traditions. Love truly grows on our farm!
