Delaware Smile Center offers a full range of Dental Services including Orthodontics, Dental Implants, Family, and Cosmetic Dentistry. Delaware Smile Center was opened in 2008 by brothers Dr. Saqib Usmani and Dr. Sohaib Usmani. Both doctors are General Dentists and have extensive experience with dental implants, short-term orthodontics and are certified to provide IV sedation dentistry. In 2011 Dr. Sophia Usmani joined the practice as an Orthodontist. She specializes in child and adult orthodontic care. Thanks to our wonderful team of doctors, Delaware Smile center is able to provide patients with a variety of specialized dental procedures in one location.

  • Dr. Sophia Usmani

    Dr. Sophia Usmani is an orthodontist operating out of Middletown, Delaware. She received her undergraduate degree with Honors from the University of Texas in Austin before enrolling in the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded the Dean’s scholarship for academic excellence. Following her residency for general dentistry, she decided to specialize in orthodontics, and was later awarded the Orthodontic Research Award for her work on facial morphology and growth. Her experience and skill allow her to help diagnose and treat complex orthodontic concerns, and she works closely with the general and cosmetic dentists at Delaware Smile Center in order to ensure that her patients receive the most comprehensive care possible. Dr. Usmani prides herself on her gentle, compassionate, and informative approach to orthodontics, and she works closely with every patient in order to ensure optimal comfort and satisfaction.

  • Dr. Sohaib Usmani

    Dr. Sohaib Usmani is a general, cosmetic, and restorative dentist operating in Middletown, Delaware. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. His clinical aptitude garnered him recognition from professors and peers alike, and he was tasked with tutoring his fellow students. After graduating, he decided to extend his education by enrolling in Christiana Care’s General Practice Residency. He continues to be active in the Delaware dentistry community, and he teaches classes once a week at Wilmington Hospital’s Dental Clinic, with a focus on implant dentistry. He is also a member of several prestigious and respected dental associations, including the American Dental Association, the Delaware State Dental Society, and the Delaware Valley Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Usmani is proud to serve patients at the Delaware Smile Center alongside his brother, wife, and sister-in-law.
